Constitution Baptist Church is a new church that began Sept. 21st, 2008 meeting at the Community Center. On our seventh Sunday we were into our own location at 100 Long Hill Road. Pastor Andrew Knight, a nine year resident of South Windsor, purposes the centerpiece of this ministry to be Christian education. Tri-Town Shelter Services: Tri-Town Shelter Services temporarily houses fifteen residents, either families or adults, and is staffed twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Given our 15 bed capacity x 364 days in a fiscal year, we provide shelter for a total of 5,460 evenings. During the past year we have provided housing for 264 adults and 39 children, making 303 clients served.
Ye Society of Genealogy, South Windsor chapter, meets the third Tuesday of each month monthly at 1 p.m. at the South Windsor Community Center, Nevers Road.
